On 10 December 2015, Fuji Electric concluded an agreement to acquire a 65% stake in CAC Joint Stock Company. The investment aimed to strengthen engineering functions in Asia by combining CAC’s project experience in Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia with Fuji Electric technology.

In 2016, the company became a member of Fuji Electric Group as Fuji CAC Joint Stock Company. This milestone connected its local engineering and project delivery experience with the Group’s industrial technology and international network, creating a broader platform for serving industrial customers.

The announcement described opportunities across industrial infrastructure, power electronics and maintenance services. Combining engineering with inverters, rotating machines, UPS, control and measurement instruments, transformers and switchgear would support broader solutions for customers.

It also identified opportunities for modernization of power distribution, production equipment and process controls across industries including cement, food and beverage, oil and gas, chemicals, water, paper and steel. The ownership percentage records the 2015 transaction and is not a statement of today’s ownership structure.
